We moored by the village of Las Palmas and visited a local family in their house and heard about their life and told them stories about ours. While the crew of our boat played football against the men of the village we visited a school where we donated some supplies and presents. We then enjoyed a locally made meal on the floor of a village house before returning to the Queen Violetta to head back downstream to Nauta.
