By the time we built the Ottery the old dock was just a pile of rocks and concrete on the point, home to snakes and frogs. So doing a rebuild was high on our todo list.
The challenge was to deal with the ruins. Getting rid of the remaining concreted rocks was not practical, so after considering many options we settled on building a wooden deck on posts straddling the line of the old concrete.
